Movies encourage social evils?

 Gone the times when parents and elders were ready to watch the movie with their children! 

Entertainment is an important part of human life. Important because it brings people together, it is a wonderful way where family and friends bond. 

Entertainment helps relax, refresh and takes the mind off from worrying about the things that are to be done. Most importantly entertainment brings happiness. 

* I DON'T THINK THAT MOVIES ENCOURAGES EVILNESS IN THE SOCIETY. 

1) Films not only provide employment to a large number of people, they also encourage cultural activities like art, drama, music, etc. through their support. Thus, they help develop people's aesthetics sense. 

2) The medium of films influences people as nothing else, it can be used to motivate people in achieving social causes and in building opinion against strikes, violence, untouchability, dowry system, black money, corruption, recourse to terrorism etc. 

3) By watching a movie like three idiots, Bhaag milkha bhaag this types of movies gives an important lesson that how to succeed in the life and also it gives many messages in regarding with the survival of life. 

4) Many movies are helping in making the society progressive. For example, ‘Pink‘ movie depicts reality as well as influences people to stop judging women based on their lifestyle. 

5) Some movies show the reality and helps in addressing the dangers of social evils. For example, ‘Udta Punjab‘ influences youth to not consume drugs. 

CONCLUSION - 

Movies and societal changes influence each other. Both witness changes with time. Many movies are bringing positive changes in society. And some movies are knowingly or unknowingly encouraging social evils.
